Health

In today’s episode, let’s talk about these four parts—mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual, that combine to create our wholeness, our oneness. Because a truly vibrant and healthy life is created when we care deeply for each part of ourselves. That’s what the term “overall well-being” actually means. And it’s what we are striving for every day of our lives.

So as you might imagine I’d like us to begin with: The Spiritual Body, and if you want to continue to learn more about all four bodies, please watch the full episode!

We are starting here because we are actually spiritual beings having a human experience. So, what is our Spiritual Body? For some people, the answer to that question is connected with their religious practice. Some think of our Spiritual Body as more of an energetic principle—quantum science talks about energy in a way that is very similar to how many people talk about their spirituality.

The most simple answer that I’ve found comes from Deepak Chopra, who says that our Spiritual Body is our connection to energy. And who out there wouldn’t like having more natural energy every day, right?

So, okay—your Spiritual Body is your connection to energy, and whether you lean more towards a religious interpretation, or a scientific one—the way you choose to view this incredible source of energy is perfect. It’s perfect for you.

And as Einstein discovered, “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.”

We were spirit before we began our human experience, and one day we will return to spirit. So we are talking about spirit first, because every other body within ourselves—our mental, emotional, and physical, and Spiritual health all require energy. The quality of our life force is equal to the quality of our energy source.

Many different ailments that people find themselves struggling with begin with blocked energetic channels. Everything from depression and anxiety that can be the result of these energy blockages impacting our mental and emotional body—all the way to more serious ailments that impact our physical body, like heart disease, which is the number one cause of poor health, across the entire globe.

This is why it’s so important to have practices in place that keep our spiritual channels open, flowing, clear of blockage, so that wonderful energy can flow freely down to our mental, emotional and physical bodies.

Some ways of keeping this sacred channel open include:

  • Practicing daily meditation- even just five or ten minutes a day can be enough to keep your energy flowing free.
  • Studying and learning more about Spiritual health, just like you are doing right now! Good job! Check out the link in the descriptions at the end of this episode, because Soul Manifesto has some amazing programs for helping you easily incorporate spiritual health into your life on a daily basis, like the 7-Day Reset, and Inevitable U.
  • Start a gratitude journal, and just jot down some things you are grateful for each day. I like to do this first thing in the morning before I even get out of bed, and now I do it right before I go to sleep too, because recent studies have proven that practicing gratitude before bed promotes more restful sleep. Gratitude is an EXTREMELY powerful and wonderful way to connect with Spirit.

Each of these wonderful practices needs to take up no more than 10-15 minutes of your day, and the benefits? I really can’t say enough about the amazing benefits these practices will have on your energy levels and your overall well-being. Let’s just say I don’t have a single client who keeps it down to just ten minutes a day because it feels so good and it brings so much peace to their lives. Next up is: The Mental Body. Don’t miss out on following the energy down through all 4 bodies. Watch the full episode now!
